Hard, high quality timber. Fine textured with an interlocked grain. Density 830kg/m3.

The Tree:

 The tree can grow up to 114 feet (35m) in height with small whitish flowers. The species is very hardy and adapts to dry soils and humid soils with a high PH.

Colour:

 Reddish to beige. Smooth rouge colour that darkens with exposure.

Typical uses:

 Floors and decking.
